    There is a lot of work missing here Ellie.
    You need to complete the home learning on the VSC/PEGI and include your notes from the lesson about the different genres of video games.

    I'd like to see this completed for your first lesson back after your mocks - Tuesday 11th December

Postmodernism postmodern films often contain the following characteristics: Breaking the fourth wall= when characters talk to the audience, they ignore the imaginary wall keeping the audience separated from the characters I n a reflection comment below, please tell me why you think 'The Lego Movie' had elements of postmodernism. For example, why did it challenge genre convetions/imiate other stories? Think about it from an audience perspective. I think the Lego movie has elements of postmodernism in order to become a memorable unique film. Some of the gender and race stereotypes that were challenged were most likely in the film to capture the audiences attention, allowing the audience to question the stereotypes and find entertainment in the unusually and lack of 'cliche' narrative. TT Games TT games is a British video game developer Warner Bro's acquired TT Games in 2007 as a part of their move into the video game market The lego movie video game was directed by Matt Palmer (who's known for his work with Tim Burton's Corpse Bride) The game was launched the same week as the movie - why do you think this was done? I think this was done because whilst the film is a new launch, the video games will also seem like an exciting new launch. If the video games were launched after the film, they wouldn't be as sought after because the peak of the marketing and excitement surrounding the film would have faded.  Why do companies release films and games at the same time?
